Wouldn't it be nice if our bodies had some way of telling us without a doubt if a baby is a girl, or if its a boy? I personally wouldn't mind if my fingernails turned pink or blue depending on what my body was trying to tell me. Skin on the other hand, well I wouldn't want to turn completely blue or pink haha! I am pretty certain you can list many causes for pink or blue skin but pregnancy is not one of them, fortunately.
March 26th we found out via ultrasound that there is a 70% chance we are having a hamburger!! In other words unless it grows man parts from now until delivery it most definitely is a girl!
Everything in my body was telling me it was a girl, sounds crazy, and I know every pregnancy is different, and although guessing and waiting can be oh so much fun, this is my comparison. Believe you me, none of this is solid evidence LOL!!
Luke Vs. Naomi
L: No morning sickness. N: Plenty of morning sickness, 19 weeks still got it.
L: No serious cravings other than lemon bars. N: Crave just about all the delicious food I see
L: Not much appetite but I still ate a lot. N: Appetite but get full faster
L: Love spicy food. N: Eh, still love spicy food, and slightly salty
L: Chinese food, Chinese buffet, all you can eat! N: Mexican food, mmm.. Fiesta Guadalajara!!
L: No baby belly 9 months preg, looked 2-3 mo. N: I'm growing a baby belly!!
L: Avocados, tomatos, salads, lemonade.. N: Popcorn, fruits, smoothies, carne asada!
L: Attracted to Boy colors! Blues, greens, reds, etc. N: Obsessed with girl colors! Pinks, yellows, etc.
L: Stretched & relaxed out, ribs are footrests! N: Curled up sweetly in a ball, comfy cozy
I will add more when they come to me, those are just a few of the differences I can remember off the top of my head.
This is going to be a fun and exciting new adventure for Carlos, Luke and I. This will be our second child, but this will be our first girl!! Not sure what we're in for or what to expect but that's the thrill isn't it!? This is going to be Luke's first sibling! He is excited! I think he hates waiting as much as we do.
If I could create the perfect little girl, I would want her to have Carlos's mexican nose. Its a sexy nose!! Hispanic noses have to be the most attractive nose, in my opinion HA! I want all my kids to have one! I would love for all my kids to be in the 6lb 6oz range. Luke was perfect! It'd be nice if one of them were to keep a pair of blue eyes though. She would be absolutely gorgeous! It might be fun to have a blonde haired child just because but really all that matters to either of us is that she is a perfectly healthy baby girl! Luke turned out perfectly healthy, happy and SO handsome! I can't wait to meet our little girl face to face!!
I am going to be SO happy to have a girl around the house! Shopping for boys are fun but I can't wait to get started with a girl! I can't wait to take and have pics of Luke and Naomi together! I wish waking up in the middle of the night was going to be as much fun as everything else will be though haha!
Cheers to a new an exciting chapter in our lives! Set to begin in August!
